For Today's busy moms, eating healthy is not always at the top of the charts for us.
I have found that making a few small exchanges in my meal prep and planning, I am able eat a little healthier and feel good about what I am feeding my family.
I would love for you all to share with us any exchanges you have made in your meal preparations.
1. Pasta - Veggie or Plant Based alternatives
2. Oils - Coconut or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3. Butter - Plant Based Vegan
4. Milk - Almond Milk
5. Water - High Alkaline - low PH
6. Fresh instead of Frozen
7. Baked instead of Fried
8. Crackers instead of cookies
9. Stop drinking Soda
10. Parking further from the store....
This obviously isn't a comprehensive list, however applying a small change here and there over time has been nothing but beneficial for my family. Change is never easy, but a change in our diet was necessary. We all began to see benefits within the first 30 days. We now only consume Organic/Non-GMO foods and we try to source mostly from local farmers.
